The Black Magician Trilogy by Trudi Canavan. I reread them for the millionth time and loved them just as much as the first time, then promptly went looking for fic. There's so little of it an it's all getting a little old now. :(

I want more fic and actual good fanart. All the best fanart was sadly generic or fanart for a different fandom someone tagged with BMT.

Those books were a lot of fun! I keep meaning to go find some more of her books, they remind me a little of Louise Cooper.
