You aren't missing anything.

The show may have some interesting concepts, but at the end of the day it's a kids show, so unless you like repetitive, silly shows that never fully explore some of the implications of the story you won't enjoy it (I sure didn't).

>repetitive, silly shows that never fully explore some of the implications of the story

Wow it's like you know what happens in all the 70+ episodes that haven't even aired yet

And I don't care, since I dropped it. It's boring and even if that changes at some point, I don't have so much free time as to watch over 100 episodes of something that just gets better after I don't know how many repetitive eps.

I'd like to ask what you mean by this in particular:

"that never fully explore some of the implications of the story"

It seems like a criticism that could go in a lot of different directions, and I'm curious what you mean by it.

Just that as a show created for kids, it'll always have limits on its content and that causes some things to be glossed over.

There's nothing wrong with that, mind you, it's just not something I enjoy when there's stuff I would like to see fully explored.

This is such a funny thing to say because SU actually has story arcs and develops themes over the course of many episodes, which many kids shows don't - and I would definitely not call it repetitive.

Have you watched all of it or only some? (Not to criticize, I don't care if you don't like it, this just doesn't seem like an accurate description to me)

Not all, I don't see the point of sticking with something I'm not enjoying.
But I did try to watch more than a handful of episodes since several fandom friends reced it so much, but I still ended multitasking while watching because I couldn't watch it without getting bored, so I gave up.

Well, no, you shouldn't watch something if it makes you bored. But saying it ever explores its implications or is repetitive isn't really fair if you haven't watched all or most of it.
