Friends to lovers/falling in love/fake relationship (that turns real, maybe)

Basically anything that isn't established relationship for noncanon pairings. I'm fine with noncanon, I just want to see how it came to be.

I don't follow anime or cartoons, but do follow a wide array of live-action western media.

this city bleeds its aching heart (Steve/Bucky) http://archiveofourown.org/works/835829/chapters/1591736 The one where Steve and Bucky pose as a happily married couple while on a mission for SHIELD, to catch an international arms dealer hiding in a suburban neighbourhood.

Thanks, I'll give it a look.

I want to rec you stuff but I feel like it's too broad to properly rec you stuff. Like, what general length would you prefer? Is it alright if the getting together is the secondary plot or do you want that to be the focus of the fic? Is m/m okay?

m/m and m/f are fine; I'm not terribly interested in f/f. Length doesn't really matter, as long as the story is served. I prefer completed works, and the relationship can be secondary as long as the primary story is good and fits reasonably well within the canon (nothing wildly AU).
