Keen hikers. I don't even need to wear them in. Last time I went to three different stores before getting a clerk to take apart a mannequin to let me try on its shoes, and that was when I discovered them. This time I bought them online and they fit like a dream. I don't even need wide widths.

The time before that I went to six different stores before finding something that would do, and I *did* have to break them in.

Not really so exact, but I will only buy winter jackets that are Columbia, Firefly, or... I forget the other brand's name. I'd recognize the symbol. I live in Canada, and if I'm shelling out hundreds for a winter jacket, I want one I *know* will go the distance.

Yup! I was pretty happy, because I would have felt bad if she dismantled the front display for no reason. They were the only ones of that brand in my size in the store, too.

The mannequins usually just glare creepily, but I think they've been speaking to the display racks ;) Those are the ones that like to sneak up behind me and pounce.
