This is an excellent term I'm going to steal.

This is totally my problem. I'm a UK 13 which pretty much just at the edge of what you can find it non-specalist stores, but have very narrow feet/heels. Only a few boot brands I can pick up, and the airforce ones fit that niche for trainers.

Still need to find the right brands for professional shoes though. That's an everlasting struggle.
