Option 1: Accept that this person does not want to date you.
Option 2: Argue your case like this is a fucking debate and this person must be convinced of your many amazing qualities in order to overcome their foolish notions of free will.
Example: This one guy chose option 2 and just kept repeating that he would not treat me like shit, while grabbing both my arms and maintaining a really uncomfortable level of eye contact.
What was he expecting here?
"Thank you! I've been waiting my whole life for someone who tells me he would not treat me like shit. Pretty sure you're bruising my arms, but that's okay because we're clearly soul mates and I was an idiot to ever deny our love!"
