1. The Nice Guys have wised up to the term Nice Guy
2. Nice Guys will always find legitimately nice girls to make excuses for their general doucheiness and actual bad behavior. That's a big reason why it persists. We need to pull a gender-wide Lysistrata operation on them.

I like guys, I don't like douches. There are lots of douches in geek/nerd communities so I get angry lots.
Luckily whenever I get outside geekland and talk to normal people I'm reminded that Nice Guys, while common, are a large minority.
