Re: Have you ever met a NiceGuy™ in real life?

*bangs head into wall* Fuck these guys. I make it *clear*. "I'm moving soon, so I'm really not looking for a boyfriend." They show up at work every day. I smile, because they're a fucking CUSTOMER!!! They try to insist I call them when I want to walk *two blocks* to the grocery store. Then, when they finally get it through their head that, "Hey, I'm on pension. Stick with me for five years and you'll never have to work again! I'll take care of you!" is NOT a good pick up line, /they stop coming to the store/!!! Despite the fact that they're pack a day smokers and are now going twice as far for a fix.

When they condescendingly imply that I can't handle myself, and insist that they're a 'nice guy' who 'just wants to take care of {you}', I wanna punch something. And when I say that I *like* my independence, they insist that it's only because I've never had anyone take care of my like they could. Urgh! "Here, I brought you a coffee!" Even if I was for sale, how much do you honestly think a coffee would buy? Really?
