You don't have to share your interest in fandom with the rest of the world. But being judgy when someone else does it does kind of make you the fun police and it makes you sound arrogant and insecure.

Why should you say anything to this person? (Unless the writing group critique is for original fic only which would actually make sense but not from a Fandom Is Bad standpoint. Or unless it's a porny fic and the group doesn't do explicit which would also be understandable but again, that's not Fandom Is Bad.)
