Same. I've interacted with quite a few people who were much older than me in fandom. Last year I actually met another fan I talk to in person, and she's a good number of years older than me (I'm 30).

The only time I'd feel awkward about a fan's age is if I'm interacting with a teenager/preteen, simply for online safety reasons and such (I'd talk to them, perhaps, but I wouldn't do things like share any explicit stories/images with them or anything like that, you know?).

Outside of that, age isn't an issue for me when connecting with fans. I'm just happy to find other people out there who share my interests :).
