Re: What TV show/movie/book do you think had the best portrayal of depression?

When my depression hits, I want to hole up in my room and never leave, so Elsa hit home for me there.

Adam Parrish, from The Raven Cycle, is a pretty good representation of what happens when you're constantly assaulted and threatened. Even when you escape that environment, you still feel the rage and sometimes your own damned brain replaces the abuse. (Fuck you, Brain. Fuck you and the horse you rode in on.)

http://www.depressioncomix.com/ touches on pretty much everything under the sun, and I've found it pretty relate able, if depressing.
