What are you just getting into / thinking of checking out?

Fall TV shows? Old things you liked? New bands? I don't know whatever. Talk about stuff.

Thinking of checking out Quantico because.... someone on Twitter posted about it and the characters look really good in their training uniforms

There are far worse reasons to check out a show.

I've just heard of Black Mirror. Looks intriguing however is many separate stories not one, can anyone recommend?

They're all stand alone stories, so jump in where you like.

A lot of people think the first series (i.e. the first three episodes) are better than the second series. The second series contains one of the most disturbing stories I've ever seen on TV, but YMMV.

It's a really good show... just maybe make sure you're not depressed before you start viewing them.

well, I'd not call it a fandom... Some of the stories're pretty interesting if a bit depressing.

It's brilliant and each episode is standalone, so you can watch them in whatever order you want. But be warned that it's brain-shatteringly dark at times. Not necessarily graphic, but... dark as fuck. I have to make sure to watch something cheerful afterwards.

Criminal Minds Beyond Borders is the only thing new I'm going to try. I've been trying to cut down on the shows I'm watching but I do love CM.

Yeah, I'll be checking that out, too.

I'm also kinda curious to check out "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.". I don't really follow the superhero genre, don't really know anything about the comics or the universe this show is based in or off of or whatever.

But the characters and cast in this show kind of have me intrigued. I think I'd like them :).

My dash is filled with Black Sails right now and I'm about to cave.

Muppets. I had completely forgotten that there was a new series, but the secrets reminded me to check it out. Sure, it's different from the original series, but I still liked it.

Too bad that the new Bugs Bunny wasn't all that good. Two episodes were enough for me.

I recently got into House of Cards. It is soooooo good.

I binge watch a season or two of The A-Team every year or so, it seems. (I watched two seasons then took a break for a year, watched a season then took a break for a year...) I'm on season four out of five and I think I may finish this time. I just love this show so much. It's equal parts campy and just plain awesome, which I've figured I really love because it definitely hits the same kinks for me that wrestling does.

Also, I've been listening to Unknown Mortal Orchestra, which I have no idea how to describe musically (like mellow electronica? I don't even know) but which has hit my music kink harder than any band since Reptar's 'Lurid Glow' album.

I'm definitely a few steps away from falling into Yowamushi Pedal hell.

I started watching Quantico. Only one episode, but I liked it. Not sure yet if I'll be fandoming for it though as I don't ship anything yet. I will almost certainly get into the Supergirl fandom once that show starts, though.

I'm not actively looking for anything to get into right now, since I've started to work on my own original stories (it's turning out to be the best choice for my blood pressure levels ngl)

Might try some old JRPGs and do the occasional fan art for them, but my active-in-fandom-with-other-people days are pretty much done.

My brother recced me the band Sabaton with their song Primo Victoria. I now know more about WWI and WWII than I ever have before, even when studying them.

Normally I'm not a huge fan of metal (I like things I can sing along with) but the lyrics are clear and the songs are rather anthemic. Marching metal, if such a genre exists.

I love Primo Victoria, but I think Panzerkampf is my favourite from them.

I'm so excited for Jessica Jones and it doesn't come out for another month and a half. :(

I've just fallen in love with Person of Interest on Netflix, though. I may have to check out any and all Detective Carter-centric fics.

I recently got super sucked into the Witcher 3 and am in a "I WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS UNIVERSE!!" phase, if only I didn't get sidetracked by all the sidequests.

Will order the books and try out the other two games when I'm done with this (I'm really doing this a bit backwards)

I've been binge-watching That 70's Show on Netflix and I'd forgotten how much I loved this stupid, goofy show and how much I shipped(and still ship) Jackie/Hyde. So I'm currently sifting through the internet for fic and finding gifsets of my fave characters.

SWTOR. My interest has been rekindled and I am SO looking forward to the new expac in a few weeks~

I just started watching How To Get Away With Murder because my friends couldn't stop being excited that Viola Davis won the Emmy for her role as Annaliese Keating.

Got into the musical Hamilton via Spotify because my Tumblr dashboard obsessed over it.

I'm the type to start shows that Tumblr obsesses or once obsessed over but abandoning them due to lack of personal interest. Examples: couldn't get into Doctor Who, Sherlock, Supernatural, Teen Wolf, Glee, Hannibal, etc because I lost interest.

I have three different fandoms waiting for me to actually get around to playing the games - Elder Scrolls, The Witcher, and the first Mass Effect game. Between them I have six games waiting plus the second two Dragon Age games as well.

And I am just not in the mood for them and end up in either The Sims 4, Sims Medieval, or Sim City 2000.

It's a horse racing MMO, although the multiplayer aspect and breeding are not yet implemented. Which is okay cause those don't start to lvl 10 anyway so by the time I get there they'll probably be running XD

It's cute.
