My brother recced me the band Sabaton with their song Primo Victoria. I now know more about WWI and WWII than I ever have before, even when studying them.

Normally I'm not a huge fan of metal (I like things I can sing along with) but the lyrics are clear and the songs are rather anthemic. Marching metal, if such a genre exists.

I love Primo Victoria, but I think Panzerkampf is my favourite from them.

Sabaton is awesome. And Panzerkampf is a great song.
Have you listened to anything from the Carolus Rex album? It's a lot different from their other stuff, but it has some of my favourites.

I don't think so, but I will definitely put that on next! Mostly I just let youtube move me from song to song, occasionally picking out ones I know I love.

Tea first, then Sabaton and possibly crochet to keep my hands busy. Sounds like a good night for me!
