Isn't a fetish show. Occasionally over-caters to undersexed dudebrahs. The scene you're talking about didn't come off right in the show imo. It makes more 'sense' in the book where it's intended to show how bad things are in the Eyrie and how screwed up the relationships there are, and how far-spanning the implications can be.

It was super squick either way.

hm. I think it gave exactly that impression. the impression of an over-protective mother to an extend that's completely unhealthy. And I'm pretty critical about instrumentalizing breastfeeding for that sort of shock.

They were fake prosthetic breasts, if that helps. They had to use fake ones because they had a child actor in that scene as well, the one acting as her son, and there are laws protecting minors that they have to follow.

They did look real though. I only knew because I watched the making of.

10 is a wee bit old yeah but humans did evolve with kids feeding up to 5 or 6 or until they lost their milk teeth, and some communities still do. It's not *thaaaat* weird, especially compared to everything else on GoT :P
