I agree with this. PoA is my favorite HP book, too, so I am aware that the movie is a bit of a narrative mess comparatively. However, it's the only movie that managed to capture what I imagined the HP universe would actually feel like, and there are so many cool thematic touches that I could watch it ten more times (on top of the several times I've already seen it) and notice something new every time.
