He's an RA at a residence hall. He'd be breaking his housing contract which would get him fired. Without that income he wouldn't be able to afford school. It's not worth the risk of him getting fired and being forced to drop out, lol.

Also, I personally discourage anyone from moving in with an SO purely out of convenience, especially if it's a relatively new relationship. Wait until you both want to live together because you want to live together and you'd be cool with that being a permanent arrangement if that's how it turned out.
