Right? And this isn't just a bookstore thing either, though I have friends who work in bookstores who encounter that ALL THE TIME. In any given forum about [insert subject here], you'll get people who want other people to take time and help them, but they won't actually do ANY preparation or research to help themselves. It's as though they expect you to read their mind, figure out what they actually need/want and THEN go off and do all the work for them.
