I've gotten used to it with Kpop, I guess, but I don't really love it either. I'm trying to think of a song where the combination really works... Maybe in "I will get you" by FT Island? I like how it fits into the music, and I like it better with the rap bit than without it.

Hullo, fellow K-popper! Incidentally, I just listened to SNSD's "You Think" and Sooyoung, while I love her, sounds absolutely cringe-worthy as a rapper. Hyoyeon, on the other hand... Aw YISS.

Haha yeah, that's not really the best example of rapping+pop. Overall I think 2NE1 are better, as far as girl rappers go. I don't know if "I am the best" counts as a pop+rap combo, but I think it works, there.

I tend to lean towards less rapping more lyrical groups myself, though.
