Re: Fancharacters
Lossanárë, Elenlossë and Elennárë were three bodiless spirits born to the Two Trees of Valinor, Telperion and Laurelin (both of whom also had intelligent souls). In a meeting that details of which died with Fëanor, he somehow ended up taking them with him after seeking some of the Light of the Two Trees and ended up encasing the three in indestructible crystal shells. They were raised by Fëanor and Nerdanel as their daughters. The Oath of Fëanor was more a vow to rescue daughters/sisters than just reclaiming sparkly gems, but a lot of people did not know the Silmarils had souls.
Elenlossë is the quiet, peaceful, shy, timid sister, who prefers things like quiet handicrafts, music, general being a support to her family and friends.
Elennárë is the bubbly, playful, emotional sister of three. Quick to temper, quick to let something slide, and very protective of family. She is also the one who becomes Kizár in the Third Age, after meeting Kíli and they adopt each other as siblings.
Lossanárë is the thinker and leader of the three. Once she has thought something through, she will do her damnedest to make it happen. She is also perhaps the strongest one of all three, more stable emotions than Elennárë and not as shy and timid as Elenlossë. Lossanárë is the silmaril removed from Angband by Beren and Lúthien.
Of course, their personalities get a bit of a stir-up in the timeline that has a major Dragon Age crossover.
Lossanárë was the first to take a body (the method she used was based on a thought she had once, back in Valinor). She became Andraste. She also soulbonded with Maferath, after he found the village of Haven, years after his betrayal. Having his support in Doriath made her resist Thingol persuading her to turn against her brothers. When brought before the Valar, she wished to be reunited with her sisters, which eventually resulted in her being sent back to Middle Earth with Eärendil's aid, but she ended up being thrown from his ship and crashing into an actively erupting Erebor. She became the Arkenstone before being found by her sister in the Third Age.
Because of a deal Elenaria (Elennárë) arranged with Anora, Lossanárë and Elenlossë took bodies and Anora and Alistair's twin daughters, Alana and Alissa. However Alana, the elder, was Elenlossë, so Elenlossë had to learn how to cope with being in public. Getting control of her shyness gave her a strength that served her later when she argued with Maglor about throwing her in the sea. She was gifted a permanent Elven form by Ulmo, married Maglor and had two children and later grandchildren. She is the Lady of Himring and unofficial queen to her people.
Elennárë was probably the most damaged by Thedas. She was found early on by an elvhen slavegirl and passed from mother to daughter in her family line, the Suranas. When she chose to take a body, after her latest Bearer had repeated miscarriages, she became Elenaria Surana, mage, Grey Warden and Hero of Ferelden. As she was always the one to feel strongly, the various injustices she saw (and could not prevent) hurt her, and once her dwarven friend Kélan was gone she no longer had the main support that kept her from falling into depression. After she returned to Arda she started to ignore and eventually suppress her memories of Thedas.
Elennárë is now Kíli's sister Kizár, after having met him when he was a child. She had to stop suppressing her memories as they came in very handy fighting Smaug, but she may still have remnants of the pain she felt in Thedas lurking.

Besides those three I have a few minor side characters in Dragon Age, tangentially linked to Elenaria Surana. Emilia Amell was a young human mage who Elenaria was friends with. She died during the Broken Circle events. Elenaria later found out she two siblings and met her older brother, Daylen, years later and recruited him in the Grey Wardens. There is such characters like Ethiliel Surana, Elennárë's last Bearer and Elenaria's mother, Aralissë, Elenaria's younger sister who she finagled a job as a nanny/handmaiden to the Twin Princesses. Melendiel Surana was Ethiliel's older sister who resented that Elennárë chose Ethiliel as her Bearer, became a Friend of Red Jenny and was responsible for the Painted Box side-quest, which was an attempt to get Elennárë back, not realising Elenaria is actually Elennárë possessing a body.
