I recently watched Jupiter Ascending and I actually really enjoyed it, like the whole thing was wacked out to hell and back and the main villain was reaaaaaaally all over the place but fuck it, it was fun. Plus I liked most of the cast and it was a very pretty movie, also Sean Bean lived!

It wasn't really all that recent that I saw it - back in May, on the plane home from NZ - but I liked it too. It's a bit cheesy but I don't think that is a bad thing every so often.

Plus yes! Sean Bean lived! XD

I love me some good old cheese so that's probably why I enjoyed it so much, like yes the whole thing is ridiculously campy and weird but it did it's job at keeping me entertained.

I know! I don't typically expect him to live outside of Sharpe.

I once did read a page somewhere that tallied the deaths he's had in roles and it's not every single movie, but it seems like it's definitely all the most popular roles he's played.

<I probably have developed more sympathy over it because Boromir is a favourite character of mine and I think Bean was spectacular playing him.

Ha, I can believe that his more memorable characters are the ones that die tbh, that kind of stuff does tend to stick out more. Either way I enjoy the 'Sean Bean always dies' joke(even if it's not 100% true).

I admittedly didn't like Boromir so much the first time I saw FoTR(was introduced to the movies before the books) since I thought he was a bit of a dick but even so I did find his sacrifice touching at the end and over the years he grew on me and these days I really like him.

Yeah, I can give credit to fanfic for my fondness for him, long before I started RPing him.
