Bruce/Batman is easily the least interesting part of batman and his mythos. He stagnates and is written horribly too many times because every writer wants to leave their mark on him and then next one proceeds to undo it all. Not to mention every writer comes in with their own idea of who Batman is leading to a bunch of cheap imitations.

The only time I find Batman tolerable is when he's written in team books, DCU-verse, or written by Paul Dini.

His rogues, the Batfamily, and other gothamites are why I read Batman. Not Batman himself.

Good point, I like Bats in team books also. Batman/Superman and JLA are my JAM.
