Normally, I would be one to say "get over it, it's just fiction"...but. I grew up watching shows/movies where it was quite common for a woman to slap a man. I legit grew up thinking that was acceptable behavior (not that I slapped anyone myself), and didn't even give it a second thought until I was in my 20s. So I think there is legitimate cause for re-thinking that particular trope.

Well, I didn't and nor did anyone I know - self defence when offered persistent groping or physical violence excepted. So maybe it's you.

Watch movies made from the '70s or later. Tons of men slapping and manhandling women everywhere. Maybe you shouldn't be such an impressionable moron.
