I have to admit I haven't thought a truckload about this, but I think when it's of actual people, much or most of the time, that shit isn't cool if posted publicly. Actively harmful I guess.

Fictional characters (of age)? Even with the wrong sexuality for canon? Ehhh, it might be squicky as fuck depending on intent, but I don't think it's "wrong" per se. They're not real people (unless they are portraying someone who is... eh I dunno).

No one's too pure, basically. But don't put that shit in other people's faces unless they ask for it.

Well, yeah. I'm not out there condoning something like ...say... showing off your RPF fic to actors at a convention. Like... dude. Highly uncool.

More trying to make the point that just the act of adding sex to something or putting your favorite characters in sexual situations doesn't automatically sully the source material somehow.
