Re: Porn fanworks of certain characters that should not exist

Off the top of my head the only thing that comes to mind is porn of notably underage characters. I'm not going to draw a hard line or anything, but I'd say fifteen is too young for anything E rated. And I'd go as far as to say I don't think it should be permitted on major public archives.

That said, I'm aware I can't hold actual teenagers to the same standards when it comes to what they read and write. If a thirteen-year-old writes something smutty about a thirteen-year-old character, that's probably a completely normal part of their own sexual development, and the idea of them being shamed for it is really upsetting. But I still would never knowingly read their fic myself, and I'm pretty uncomfortable with the idea of other adults knowingly reading it.

I'm also pretty leery about slave/master porn, especially if it's overtly coercive or forceful. (I mean, it's rape no matter what, but personally I think the distinction between rape by default and forcible rape still has some validity.) I'm not sure I'd say it shouldn't be permitted on major public archives, but I do wish people wouldn't post it on major public archives.
