idk about the actual house, but The Shire would basically be the best neighborhood. It's so peaceful and beautiful and idyllic.

My thought is that it isn't just the Sackville-Baggines, but everyone. Any small village has everyone knowing everyone and gossip going around all the time, so while the Sackville-Baggines are the worst, they're hardly the only ones.

But then I'm a city girl and used to city anonymity and might find small town everyone-knows-everyone unsettling.
