Ehh, this is a classic unfalsiable theory. No one can say what happened before the Big Bang simply because if there was anything before that, it all got erased.

I mean, it's a valid theory, but it's not "scientific evidence" and will never be.

Maybe. The last I heard, the scientific evidence was that the galaxies are proven to be decelerating in their movement away from each other, which is evidence that they're eventually going to stop and have enough pull on each other to start moving back in the other direction.

That's true, but all it proves is that our Universe may - may, mind - end with a Big Bang-like event. Not that there were similar events before the original Big Bang, nor that there will be any afterwards.

That depends entirely on how much dark matter is present in our Universe. Currently we have no idea whether the stuff even exists, so it's impossible to accurately even hazard a guess.

Basically, the jury's still out on whether the Universe will simply lose inertia and remain that way, or whether it will shrink back into itself (the Big Crunch).

Several big name astrophysicists have suggested the possibility of the Big Bang ending in a "Big Crunch" of sort, and it does follow logic that what begins must end, and will likely begin again.

There's also multiverse theories, with the suggestion that if existence is infinite, then surely infinite Big Bangs have room to happen.

But it's not really "evident" per se (besides suggestion that the speed of the Universe's expansion could slow), but it is very logical theorizing.
