Re: What to do for pain
- peppermint tea;
- something warm (a bottle of hot water?) on the body part that's in pain;
- do something distracting, try not to think about being in pain - watching very absorbing TV shows? Crocheting/doing something equally monotonous that keeps your hands busy?
Re: What to do for pain
The problem with warm is that I'm not sure whether warm or cold is the right thing. I took a really hot bath earlier and it felt better. But for tendenitis I'm not sure whether warm or cold is actually the right thing and I don't want to make things worse.
I've been watching tv all day, which has been a little distracting, but I'm getting really bored stuck in bed which is making it hard to focus on things besides pain.
Re: What to do for pain
Otherwise, I'm sorry I can't help you. I take aspirin as my main pain relief, and it pretty much works at all times. This short article has some good ideas and may help - it suggests topical stuff as well as supportive bandaging/wrapping.

Hope you feel better soon!
