This sounds so familiar. Could be any of a dozen fandoms.

The most depressing thing is when they honestly don't seem to see anything wrong with holding up middle-aged man/young girl as some sort of romantic ideal, or even worse when the sex scenes are out and out rape. If you're into age gap and underage rape, just admit it. Don't pretend your shipping is more pure just because it's het.

I seriously worry about anyone who ever has a relationship with these people in real life. I've actually lost sleep over it. I need to get out of fandom for a while because there are too many I've met who can't see why underage rape shipping isn't twuu vuw.
