I believe the term you're looking for is "Migratory Slash Fandom".

Probably everyone who reblogged that post going "OMG SO BRILLIANT THIS IS NOW MY HEADCANON" is also into or used to be into SPN/Sherlock/Teen Wolf/Inception/XMFC/nu!Trek or any of the other canons that are big with the MSF.
