(Anonymous) 2015-10-14 02:45 am (UTC)(link)Also, nice homophobia what with the "missing boobs and vaginas" shit. I literally never brought that up, lmao.
Re: Gender Stuff
(Anonymous) 2015-10-14 02:49 am (UTC)(link)"I wish my boyfriend was a woman," which implies that she would continue dating her boyfriend if he was a woman.
Nah, colloquially no. You're second guessing to an unsupportable degree.
Also, you meant transphobia.
Re: Gender Stuff
(Anonymous) 2015-10-14 02:58 am (UTC)(link)2) And, uh, no, don't tell me what I meant. I meant homophobia. I literally just said that OP's statement implies to me that she would be fine being with her boyfriend if he was a woman, and the other anon completely sexualized it. If anything, it's also biphobia as well.
Re: Gender Stuff
(Anonymous) 2015-10-14 07:13 am (UTC)(link)2) You're right about sexualizing it, my apologies. It's also transphobic however.

(Anonymous) 2015-10-14 06:59 am (UTC)(link)Are you a guy? Because generally, most women don't feel the need to make absolutely certain nobody thinks they might like women. Many straight women can very comfortably say "I wish my boyfriend was a woman" without feeling like they have to specify that their "not gay or anything!"
she said, "I wish my boyfriend was a woman," which implies that she would continue dating her boyfriend if he was a woman.
Nah, if OP's initial statement implies anything, it implies that she's straight, because if she were bi she wouldn't need to her BF were a woman - she could just date a woman. Not that I am by any means certain OP is straight - that's just what I got from her comment.

I'm sorry, but what world do you live in? And do you have any idea how bizarre that sounds? I've never met a straight woman who said they wished their boyfriend was a woman. That just not make any sense. She might say that she wished her boyfriend understood women more or that he knew what it was like, but why would a HETEROSEXUAL women SPECIFICALLY say she wished her boyfriend was a woman? That's completely nonsensical.
Nah, if OP's initial statement implies anything, it implies that she's straight, because if she were bi she wouldn't need to her BF were a woman - she could just date a woman.
If anything, what you're saying makes less sense. You're saying that the OP has no strong feelings for her BF and could just easily leave him? Uh, plenty of bi women fall in love with men and aren't too happy with some of their insensitive/sexist attitudes but stay with them anyway. In fact, I've literally heard bi women say exactly what the OP said.
I could go on about this, but I'm tired of this argument so peace out.

I have, at various points in the passed, wished just about every guy I've ever dates was a woman.
There. Now your tiny mind can believe in it, since you have personally experienced it to exist! This much be a big day for you!
