If i had an actual objection, I'd make it. I don't. I just have a lot of feelings pro Cartinelli and anti this specific ot3. But there's not actually anything wrong with it. Just my feelings.

I can't speak for the OP, but for me it's fandom's double standard when a woman is the one who behaves abusively in a relationship.

*blinks* Oh okay is this what this OT3 involves? Don't really remember it in CA1. In which case, being reminded of fandom's double standard is always annoying.

Well, Peggy saw Steve kissing another woman, and rather than talking to him, got angry and refused to speak with him. She came across as very possessive and jealous, which put me off. In the next scene, she shot at Steve without warning, because she was so angry with him, over a misunderstanding that could have been cleared up in thirty seconds had she actually asked him what was going on.

I don't know, I just find someone assuming the worst about their love interest and then attacking them with a lethal weapon out of jealousy and anger to be very off-putting. I also know that had Steve been the one behaving like that, he probably would have been soundly condemned for it by fandom.

That scene just made me think Peggy was too immature to be in a relationship with anyone.

Oh right, I remember now. I just rolled my eyes at the irritating het dynamics with the contractual "feistiness" as I always do. I guess when looking at it with otp or notp shipper goggles you'd tend to take the dynamics as it is shown on screen? I almost always get kinda Holmesian/distanced about canon het drama.

To be honest, I always thought she was more annoyed by his response to her rather than the kissing. Steve doesn't come off from that exchange very well either. They both act like bratty, immature fools.
