Re: portmanteau names

Best:
- Pepperony (pizza!)
- Fuffy (one letter away from FLUFFY!)
- Scones (Scotty + Bones = delicious breakfast food)
- Megascream (perfect summary of their relationship)
- Logurt (LOW-FAT YOGURT)
- McSpork (BEST SHIP NAME EVER)

Worst:
- Scogue (sounds like a disease)
- Spuhura (sounds like a type of fungus)
- Cherik (idk why, it just bugs me for some reason)
- most Steven Universe portmanteaus (the only one I've heard that I like is Pearlnet, which makes me think of a net full of pearls)

I like Scogue and Spuhura precisely because they sound like a disease and a type of fungus. I'm too enthusiastic about biology.

But Cherik is blergh, agreed.

No, Spuhura is a kind of ghost banshee from Asian folklore. You don't want it hovering over your bed when you sleep.

Uhurock is great for spock/uhura though, it sounds like u rock or uhura rocks, which is 100% correct

Mcspork sounds like a pork cheeseburger served with a fork from the mcdonald's menù

Scogue, now that sounds like something intriguing
