99% of pairings have portmanteaus now though.

I think I am "lucky" in that way - most of my fandoms are small/almost dead/old so no one is using portmanteaus. Which is good, since I hate them with the fire of a trillion suns, but bad because it means very little fic, and almost only for the big pairings which I dislike.
