I hope it comes out well!

I made some seven layer dip with black bean dip as a base last night and it was thoroughly demolished by the dinner company, and the compliments were very nice.

No huge plans today. Probably just going to roast some vegetables and leave it at that since I made an omelette for lunch.

My parents and brother enjoyed the dinner. Obviously too much for just the four of us, but we're all looking forward to leftovers at least.

I try to cook every so often on Sundays to make it easy on the family.

Family dinners are the best dinners anyway. So much the better if I'm the one in the kitchen. :)

Oh my dad is far better at cooking than me, but I'm the dessert queen in the house.

Family dinners are great, especially since we actually all sat down without the TV on and talked about our past two days. It was really nice and something we don't do nearly enough (mostly that there were no arguments and no TV)
