Absolutely.

Especially the religion bit. We so closely associate Islam with people of Arab descent, but there's a lot of Middle Eastern peoples who are Christian, Zoroastrian, or even atheist. Even positive descriptions of Muslim Arabs feels like stereotyping now.

Yes, please! It would be very nice to see an Arab person who is not 100 percent about religion all the time.

It would also be nice to see an Arab (or a Muslim) person for whom religion is important, but not in the obvious, stereotyped way.
