I think someone is rich if they have enough money to spend that they hardly ever check a bill. Also when they don't have to worry about finances at all.

Honestly being rich to me is more an attitude thing, I guess? The wealthiest friend I have is going to inherit a multi-million fortune (in my currency), which adds up to around a million dollars. That's after splitting her father's estate between seven siblings and his wife. You could never tell by looking at her though. What does give it away is that she has a very blasé attitude when it comes to money, which is what really tells me that she has grown up a lot wealthier than my other friends

My sister used to wait tables in a wealthy part of town. The few times she got a car fine she'd just put it on the windscreen of a ritzy car. Never heard anything back about it, and it's assumed the rich people just paid it without bothering to check it.
