Ehh, a lot of the answers you get on questions like this are for specific examples. But I don't think being able to buy a designer handbag makes you necessarily rich, because I've known people with hardly any income to spare who prioritize getting a designer handbag and cut corners everywhere else.

Incomes are also dependent. I grew up in a big house and my parents were well-off... for a small town, rural area. Furthermore, here where I am, it's normal for families to have "summer homes" - that is, lake houses (I'm in Minnesota, it's a common thing here). We don't have one, but then, my parents put the money into a nicer permanent home. And since that is just so normal here to have a lake house, it's not a good indicator of wealth.

I mean, I guess if you're a millionaire (in USD) you're probably rich wherever you go. But the details I think depend on the community you're in, and what's normal there.
