(Anonymous) 2015-10-22 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)Who types like this most often? Tumblrinas. What is perceived as the common stereotype of the Tumblr ingenue? Dotty young fandom girls.
And anons *love* to pick on young fandom girls in tons of forums. They look funny, they like lattes, they got funny voices, hell, look at how they type. ZOMG BECKY I CAN'T EVEN.
It's the same petty shit as hating on all of that. It's a dogwhistle. Is that better?

(Anonymous) 2015-10-23 12:01 am (UTC)(link)Look, it's arguable whether or not it's misogyny, but in my experience and opinion it's an attitude that shits on young women more than any other group. If that's a 'card', slap a Hallmark logo on its ass and eat it.

(Anonymous) 2015-10-23 08:42 am (UTC)(link)And to be honest, I'm 28 and I'll do the keysmash, and the I CAN'T EVEN, and the WHERE IS MY CHILL, and the ALL MT FEELS thing sometimes. I resisted for ages, but it's such a common language in most of fandom, so I was actually having to go out of my way to not use those things, plus they kinda seemed like fun, so after a while I just embraced them (in moderation). And I don't regret it.
