Is the following scenario creepy?

Charles and Beth have an unplanned pregnancy at 15. Beth has the baby and names him Daryl and, for whatever reason, Charles never becomes involved in his son's life. At 22, Charles and Anna also have a baby and Charles is also not involved in the life of Anna or that baby. Meanwhile, when Daryl turns 24 he meets and falls in love with Anna. Assuming that the age difference is not creepy, is the relationship?

....no? I'd assume neither Daryl or Anna chose to hook knowing who the other was birthed by/slept with.

All I know is, Charles sounds like a fuckboy. Shut the fuck up, Charles, shut the fuck up.

(also, maybe a little creepy, but maybe not that big a deal)

I could see this easily happening with nobody the wiser due to sperm donors or something. I don't see an issue unless people make it creepy by fetishizing the relatedness and Anna isn't related to Charles or Daryl anyway.

Let me make sure I have thus right: Anna is hooking up with her kid's half-brother? No, not creepy. They aren't related biologically, Daryl did not grow up in a family that involved Anna, Anna did not know Daryl begore, and it's not an inapropriate relationship for Anna's kid.

I actually didn't think of that aspect of it! I focused more on the sons being half-brothers, and just kind of forget that part. Dating your ex's son is a bit creepy.

Not really? I think it's a little weird at most. That's just because I can't imagine falling in love with someone if I knew I was connected to them in that way, but I'm not everyone.

Does Anna know Daryl is her son's brother? In that case it would be a bit weird, but as Anna and Daryl aren't biologically related I wouldn't think it creepy.

If they don't know the two are brothers it would just seem like any other relationship.

I do think both Daryl and Anna may be a little askance when they find out Daryl is the half-brother of Anna's son. The question is really how they handle it from that point on-wards. Is it enough for them to break up or can they move on and laugh at how Daryl and Anna's son are brothers?

I think if I heard of something like that IRL I'd be a bit puzzled, then say "I hope they can work it out for themselves".
