When a gay romance option was offered in Mass Effect 3 there was a huge wanksplosion of 12 year olds bawling on the internet that Commander Shepherd couldn't possibly be gay, and that was a BioWare game...

If suddenly all of the CoD men were homos tears would fill oceans and solve all of California's drought problems.

I wish I didn't remember some of the wank about ME3's gay options (and DA2's), but I do. Which is hilarious considering BioWare's track record of LGBT characters and romances. If you don't want those options, you might as well stop playing their games because they ain't going anywhere. (They are in fact only getting gayer.)

Not being in the CoD fanbase I can't speak to their reaction, but I can imagine it might not be the most sensible one.

I'd be cool with it, but there really isn't much room for sexual expression of any kind in Call of Duty games. "Ramirez, protect the Burger Town! Ramirez, suck my dick!"
