It's not even really for shipping reasons for me (I don't hardcore ship Steve with anyone in particular) but, to me, he's a great choice precisely because he represents the American ideal (what it should be, not what it is, sadly). And the American ideal being not-cis or not-het would send one hell of a message

Yea, I would love if Steve was bi. It would be pretty cool to have such a famous and beloved superhero be bisexual. I don't think there are a lot of popular non-straight superhero's that the average non-comic fan knows of, but most people have heard of Captain America.

I'd want Peggy to be bi as well, because again, I think it would be neat and help a lot of people feel more comfortable with their sexuality. ... But also because I ship her with Angie.
