Steins;Gate is heavy on SF/time travel, and technically the romance is M/F, but it's a fantastic story and absolutely worth playing through the various branches. Cinders, available on Steam, is a non-Japanese VN that's pretty well-written - interesting retelling of Cinderella with elements of political intrigue and all. The Blind Griffin is otome (the genre you're after, seemingly - female protagonist and a range of male love interests) and more importantly, name your own price.

But my top rec for an otome game would have to be Hatoful Boyfriend. Yes, the one with the birds. Its story is amazingly deep and I think there's some female fanservice thrown in with certain settings... also, birds.
