I like how you can predict what I would complain about "sheesh, you people. You complain when I pee on your legs, you'd complain if I didn't pee on your legs..."

I have an issue with the fact every time Moffat introduces a 'powerful woman' it turns out she's powerless without the direction of a man. Show me the episode where Sherlock was only able to appear to be so smart because he was getting directions from a far more intelligent woman and then we'll talk.

First off, episode wasn't written by Moffat; it was Stephen Tompson. It's not just one guy calling the shots. Second, it wasn't a great episode, but that's mostly because hundred-year-old material doesn't always translate well into the modern day. Not every flaw in Sherlock boils down to "Moffat hates women, POCs, and gays."

That ep has Moffat's mitts all over it. I am like 95% sure that Moffat, a Sherlock fan since he was little, and someone with an utter repeated fascination with domme type women (who fall for the mouthy bad boy hero), had a specific idea about Irene when he directed that episode to be written.

I've also been a Sherlock fan since I was little (and a Moffat fan - LOVED Press Gang), and I never had a problem with the hundred year old material about Irene. It's the way it's been "modernised" that I find really gross.
