I don't know why, but "taken" as a euphemism for "had sex with" irks the heck out of me. It's up there with some of the stupid terms for genitals ("manhood," etc.). People make up some annoying words in regards to sex.

'Taken' has a certain dramatic dominating connotation. It's a useful word.

Yes, 'dominating' is the right word for it. I wouldn't use 'taken' as a euphemism for sex in general, but more to indicate that it's of a more forceful, dominant nature.

... except that just because something implies forceful action doesn't necessarily mean it's non-consensual. For example, when someone says, "Take me right here, right now!" etc.

To me it implies more than just sex - it implies sex by force, whether consensual or not.
