Emotional abuse is more difficult. I would know. I have done it. It takes work but you CAN stop behaving that way. You have to be really aware of what you're doing and how it's affecting others. Dissect it if you have to (with help from a professional if possible). It's possible to figure out what you're doing that is hurting others and choose to stop it, even if it seems daunting.

Look, here's the thing: the majority of people are actually decent people. They won't change the world for good, but they also don't make it worse.
So statistically, chances are you're one of those.
Now the fact you tried to change does tell me you're a decent person. The fact your failing tells me there is probably a factor that is preventing you from succeeding, my guess would be a mental illness.
And putting those two together -I'm sorry to say - unfortunately makes you a terrible judge as to if suicide is a good idea.
You are not a bad person because your mental illness or your personal problems inconvenience other people. Especially not if those people include our parents, because having a kid always holds the risk of having one with problems. You have just as much right to be on this planet as anyone else.
