It's interesting how our feelings influence how we see media.

When I was a teen, I had a HUGE crush on an actor. I legit hated his real-life co-star and later wife. I thought she was the ugliest person ever. I mean I really thought she was ugly. (Turns out she's considered very beautiful by everyone else--and I could see it too, more or less, once my huge crush passed a bit.) :o

Don't feel too weird about it, just recognize it's a thing, and be glad it's about fictional people rather than hating on real life folks.

PS I'm ace too although it took me a while to figure it out. (: Fistbumps of aceness.

Haha...wrong on all fronts. I was a weird teen and had crushes on a star from classic films. Not telling who. (It's not that weird, just...whatev.)
