Re: What do you think of young people who have already accomplished a lot?
(Anonymous) 2015-10-28 11:03 pm (UTC)(link)Seriously, though, I've never personally known anyone like that, but I've certainly heard stories, and I think it's impressive and admirable to see them making such strides at such young ages.
I have also heard, however, about some of the struggles and pressures that come with that kind of rapid achievement and development in their education, and it does make me feel for them, since it sometimes sounds like they're so busy they can't seem to carve out much time just for themselves, to do something fun or relaxing. And if they're pressured into that kind of academic success by family or something, I feel for them with the problems that come with that, too.
It's something that often seems a double edged sword in a lot of ways in the end.
