Shitty news: someone I knew died. We weren't super close but I liked her. We didn't find out until after the burial because I don't think anyone knew to contact us (she had no more next of kin) and it all in all just sort of sucks.

Oh wow. That's terrible, I'm sorry. I can relate, earlier this year I found out someone I knew as a teenager was murdered. :/
