(Anonymous) 2015-10-30 12:23 am (UTC)(link)I mean I still love the interpretation of it I had as a kid but I definitely can't look at it twice without thinking of all the icky implications. And I also side-eye some of the worldbuilding and McCaffery's clear biases that I don't agree with.
Kinda sad about the situation actually.

I struggle to read them now, even though I'm curious about her sons take in it, he seems to have some odd views according to reviews, too
