I've actually had experience with that kind of thing and it's so obvious and creepy when they pretend not to have the kink. Someone with a non-con and rape and violence kink once used to be all those are sooo bad and sooo problematic and post all the time kinkshaming, but then had their princess bat her eyelashes at my villain while conveniently chained up and so helpless then got all miffed when my villain laughed and left her there. Because I'm ruining the story. Lol

What are some you've seen?

Look for people who are unaware that certain words simply ARE NOT USED outside their fetishes. Think of how you'll sometimes see someone use "ship" as a noun or verb in its fandom meaning outside of a fandom context. They just accidentally outed themselves. I've seen people who seemed genuinely unaware that "cuck" or "singletail" or "twink" are not common vanilla parlance.

Only spanking fetishists (and a few British people over 50, but the overlap there is close to 100% anyway) use "bottom" to describe an ass. Nobody not into rough/noncon/ravishment fantasies uses "take" to describe sex. A fat woman with clear body confidence is almost certainly into kinky sex and may well be in the scene. Certain groups (goths, several geek tribes, people raised Catholic) are almost entirely composed of kinky people, so you can play the odds with confidence.

I am a straight super vanilla person and I know what a twink is. I hear parents use "bottom" for "ass" all the time. And using the word "take" to describe sex is pretty common in romance novels, even ones that aren't necessarily non con.

I'm not vanilla, but all this I heard long before I even got into the sex side of fandom. Some, like "bottom," is even used in TV. And "twink" was years ago a very offensive term for a homosexual; and still is in some circles.

Those words are more a giveaway to how/where/when you were raised than if you're into certain kinks.
